Is it really an outlandish ideal to want a peaceful and prosperous nation, one ruled only by compassion, truth and justice? The idea that history is anything but a learning experience for mankind is not a widely held belief. Those who do not believe this view generally do not make the public available for such comments, because the idea that history can teach us something about how to live our lives is too revolutionary.
